Sorry for the long space between posts. I’ve had some internet and computer troubles and my bathroom is still being renovated so it’s all been happening here! But my internet is on and working a treat, so everything should be smooth sailing from here on out!
Ok, let’s get into it!
So this is an outfit that I wore for a slightly more formal meal with friends and family. The black crew neck is ribbed cotton and short sleeved so it’s not too stuffy.
The tan faux suede skirt is a new purchase. It hits the leg at a nice place right on the knee so it’s suitable for quite a few occasions; you can dress it up or dress it down.
The belt that I’m wearing with it is actually from a dress that I own which will be coming up in a future post. The pretty rose gold clasp adds an interesting detail to the look. My shoes are from the Australian brand Tony Bianco. I saw them in Myer and I had to have them! They were so lovely and I’d been looking for a pair of black heels with a pointed toe, so these fit the bill perfectly!
I kept my makeup simple, but with a bold lip to add a pop of colour. I’m just realising it now that I’m writing this blog post and looking over the pictures, but my lipstick matches my nails almost perfectly! That was a total coincidence!
Anyway, that’s about it for now. Also, thank you so much to the people that read my blog! I know I’ve only posted once so far but there’s quite a few of you that keep coming back (I assume you’re looking for more blog posts!) so thank you! I was so shocked at the amount of views in such a short space of time. I’m going to get into a regular schedule of posting, so bear with me!
These photos were taken in Australia, hence the glorious weather! It also shows how long I’ve been sitting on these photos, and I still have more to go!!
Oh, also, I’m trying to get the comments working! Hopefully they’ll be live for this post!
Anyway, thanks again! I hope you had a wonderful time this holiday season! I’ll see you all in 2016!
